I sold today!!!!

I think I have mentioned that I work for my son and daughter...The three of us started a pest control business last year and the 'office' is in my den.

I am responsible for answering phones, receiving payments and paying bills...

Today I sold almost $1000 in business WOO-HOO!!!

Our busy season is just starting and the calls are starting to pick up...so i anticipate being very busy until October (a really good thing, we are still in the RED)

I have learned more this past year about BUGS than I ever thought I wanted to....ugh...but it also is what is allowing me to be home to care for my parents....so I am grateful for the opportunity...I am also hoping the business will give DS and DD1 a nest egg for down the road...

At the very least, it's been an adventure!!

oh yeah, oh yeah,. I sold $1000////oh yeah....lol

    Feels good to hit those milestone numbers doesn't it?? If we lived closer I'd give you my contract for the rental...........we just can't get rid of the little tiny ants!!! Those little critters that smell like lemon when you squish them. I always think I'm being "taken" with the pest control co. They visit every month and we always have ants.

    Way to go Ray! Bug em all till they buy! :-) I use pledge on my ants. It works great, but its nice to have a neighbor that is an exterminator!
    I hope your company is wildly successful! (Or at least in the black!)

    Contrary1- those are most likely odorous house ants...most likely there is a nest in the wall or under the house...have them treat these areas - iot should be part of your service (also check on what chemical they are using and I can check with my expert for you)

    Boomeyer...pledge is a unique pest control, but having an oil base, it has that important residual effect...I am glad it is working for you!!! (Most of the time you have to get the nest, which is often under the house)

    Congrats on reaching a milestone like that! I'd love to make $100 in sales in a day in my boutique - let alone $1000. Wink
