A Reprieve?

I just checked the weather for the rest of the week and the temps have dropped to the high 90's....a small drop, but a drop I will take!

Hope it continues to cool a bit. It has been too darn hot this summer!

    It has been hot here too, but not as bad as what you have been getting. Stay cool!

    Cooling off here too..........thank goodness. I've been up at 6, racing around getting everything caught up that didn't get done while it was hot. Absolutely NO energy once the temp goes over 80.

    I even took down the sheets over the kitchen windows.........I've felt like I've been living in a tent, due to my imaginative window coverings!!!

    Im still in the tent...My DD1 said my house is like a maze with all the sheets...but when you move from an uncooled room to a cooled one, you can REALLY tell the difference- which means those sheets are working...

    I actually put up a few towels over non-covered windows yesterday in my laundryroom- which gets direct sunlight...it was such a sauna room before...now it is just a mini-sauna...

    REALLY looking forward to cooler temps in the coming days.
