I have a list too!! 28 so far!

1. I was an honor student in high school but decided not to go to college.
2. I am ¼ Cherokee Indian, but my full-blooded Cherokee grandpa (who was born in 1840) thought being an Indian wasn’t cool so he put ‘white’ on every legal document we can find! He was 73 when my dad was born and died 3 months later.
3. A local detective and I co-founded a fraud team between law enforcement and banks that has now gone state-wide and has stopped many bad guys!!!. J
4. I grew up riding dirt bikes in the southern California deserts.
5. I once tipped over an outhouse (no, no one was in it)
6. I’ve never done drugs or smoked.
7. I am a PHQ. (know what that is?)
8. My hero has always been John Wayne- who died right before I graduated from high school.
9. I’ve only had one accident. I hit some black ice and rolled and totaled our car.
10. With the exception of Tijuana, I’ve never been out of the continental 48.
11. I’m more creative than organized.
12. I am claustrophobic.
13. I love rollercoasters.
14. I don’t like seafood.
15. I once drove my Volkswagen through a park with lots of hills and then down a sidewalk to get back onto the street. (Oh, those teen years)
16. I divorced my first husband because of abuse.
17. My brother, and only sibling, was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1988.
18. My favorite movies to watch over and over are: Sense and Sensibility, The Notebook, and Everafter.
19. My DH and I never got to go on a honeymoon. We were married the night before he left for the Gulf War~ and I didn’t see him again for 7 months. Our daughter was born on Christmas Eve, 9 months after he got back …she is now 14 (almost 15)
20. I have 4 kids and 2 grandchildren.
21. I hate mayonnaise, mushrooms and meat that comes from organs. (blech)
22. I’ve never seen a UFO.
23. I love going to the movies, but only go once or twice a year.
24. Someday, I hope to go on a cruise.
25. Every time I turn on my street, I am grateful that I live in the country.
26. We have a 2 story blue house with red and white trim. My kids call it a dollhouse…and I LOVE it.
27. I’ve never seen Mount Rushmore, but hope to this next year!
28. I’ve lived in a haunted house.

    Living in a haunted house is really cool. I am glad you got out of that abusive relationship. My sister was in one and it was heartbreaking.

    I hope you go on that Honeymoon someday! You deserve it!Smile

    congrats for being strong enough to get yourself out and to safety. can't remember how many lists i've seen today that have mentioned abuse, but it's definitely more that one would like...

    my aunt lives in a hunted house: her ghost puts kitchen stuff away (scissors, twist ties, etc). i asked if i could borrow it but no luck yet Frown

    hehe. I'd like to borrow that ghost too, when you're done Tina... dont like mayo?? I still find this phenomenon to be unbelievable (though BF and my best friend both cant stand the stuff).

    i heard cruises are great fun but haven't been on one either. i would like to someday. also, if you ever decide to leave the 48 states and do a little traveling may i suggest hawaii? it truly is beautiful.

    I left my first husband because he was abusive, I have been on 14 cruises and loved them all.

    Uh... I've never seen an UFO either.... Wow, didn't know we had that in common. Wink (Sorry, couldn't resist teasing you about that.)

    Seriously though, I can relate to #24. I'd like to go on a cruise someday as well.

    DH and I didn't go on a honeymoon either, but not for the same reason. Although he did go to Saudie Arabia during Gulf War I, but I didn't know him yet.

    I'm curious about the PHQ as well!!

    PHQ- is 'Past Honored Queen' of Job's Daughters. A girls youth organization that is a branch of the Masonic Lodge. A fun time for sure!
