Not Buying it for 2006

I decided to review my not buying list for 2006 to see if Im sticking with it.
The list included:

clothes (excluding 1 pkg undies and socks)
make-up
haircuts
shoes
craft supplies (except yarn for GDs xmas blanket- need 4-5 more scans)
nice bath soap (will use existing supply)
books
magazines
perfume
purses
soda for me at home
wine

On our girls trip, I did buy a cute halloween shirt that I found at Burlington Coat Factory for $12 and I have bought an occasional bottle of wine (although it is just an occasional treat, rather than an evening glass)

I even stuck to my guns after my 1 of 2 pair of jeans ripped beyond repair.

Just a few more weeks to go. I have a nice selection of holiday sweaters that I pull out after Thanksgiving...so it will soon feel like I have a new wardrobe anyways!

    very nice! i've developed the 24-hour and 30-day rules for small and large purchases.

    What a good idea! I think the only thing I said I wouldn't buy this year was shoes and I accomplished that. I need to make a list for next year....
