Weiner Dog saga continues

Boy, Im beginning to think this was not a match made in Heaven!

Nana ended up having the notorious red line running up her arm after the dog bite...so she is one some serious drugs for blood poisoning.

And Ms. Molly growled at GD (14 months) when she got close...

The grandbabies are the alta-omega to nana and papa...so me thinks lil miss Molly may be heading back to her former home if she is not on her best behavior today!

    Older dogs that are not use to children, do not usually like children. I hope something can be worked out.

    They just got off to a rocky start. Everybody including Molly is in adversarial mode right now - give them a day or two and see if things don't settle out. So sorry to hear about your Momma's arm!! Gosh Molly that was just not kind!

    Molly is doing a little better today. Although she does growl everytime GD gets close. They are going to give her a couple of days- I know that poor dog was scared out of her wits on night 1.

    Personally, if any animal bit me or my kids or DH they would be right back out the door to wherever they came from. I like animals but I won't tolerate biters or attackers. Getting this dog seems ill-conceived from the start. Nana didn't want a dog to begin with. She's not an animal person. Or at least not a dog person, and maybe the dog is picking up on that, too. I never would have started with a dog, myself for a non-animal lover, they are too much work and too high-spirited. I'd have started with a low-maintenance cat. Probably a kitten so it could grow up with the idea of children being around.
