If bad luck comes in threes am I done??

I swear, I couldn't make this up.

Got my mom home from the hospital yesterday and walked into my bedroom..there laid the hub with a major headache...within 5 minutes, I was back on the FWY to the hospital...5 hrs later, the hub was admitted for meningitis.

THANKFULLY- it is looking viral rather than bacterial and he should be able to come home tomorrow.

I can't even tell you guys how tired I am...but I am very grateful for having a caring and understanding boss. I have gone through this past couple of weeks without having to worry about my job.

I am afraid to see what these medical bills will do to my newly created budget...even with insurance, deductibles and co-pays are expensive!!! ugh.

    I'm so sorry for all you have been going through.
    If there were a way to "virtually knock on your door" and hand you a casserole or a pot of tea over the internet, I'd do it!

    Ouch that sounds terrible. Please tell the bad karma monster it has the wrong house, and tell 2008 you want a do-over!

    Well, my friend, I can say I will shut up about the pneumonia, flu and strep we have had. You are showing what a true blessing they are!!
    So smack me around, but HOORAY for being able to bring mama home and HOORAY that the hub got diagnosed and is being treated and will be healed. God sure has a weird sense of humor!
    Please, please take care of yourself and let your kids help you out too!!
    As for the medical bills, well it will take them months to figure it out, so just put it to the back of your mind for now and concentrate on getting those two back on their feet!

    Been there done that - it can wear a bod down. Don't forget to strap on your own figurative 'oxygen mask'. You can't take care of everyone else if you don't take care of you. Get yourself some catnaps and fluids and don't forget some healthful food in your system!!! HUGS to you and yours!!!

    Oh, gosh, Ray, you are going through very trying times. Everything will improve, it really will. Sometimes those with the strongest shoulders are given the greatest burden. You will come through this stronger than before.
