Raise your right hand and repeat after me....

This post is dedicated to our blogging buddies who have become MIA...

I don't know about the rest of you, but I get attached to the folks who blog here. I consider you blogging sisters and brothers, or buddies, or friends...whatever you want to call it. I read about your lives and I care about what is happening to you. I appreciate you advise, I celebrate with you, do the happy dance for you, and sometimes even cry with you. GOSHDARNIT...you are like family.

And then...for no good reason, one of my blogging buddies will up and disappear. *poof*...just one day I scratch my head and realize I have not read anything in a while...and then a while longer...and then a while longer.

I am sure this is common in blogging land. I know life happens...but I have a favor to ask.

Could you just post a parting blog to let me (us) know you are taking a break, leaving, wont be back, etc. whatever?

I just want to know you're ok. That's all. I will miss you...but at least I don't have to worry too...

SO...as you read this, please raise your right hand and repeat after me....

I promise to sign off...if I wont be blogging for a while...or ever...so that my blogging buddies can say adios and not worry about me when they realize it's been a while...

That's all. And if you are still checking in and reading, but not blogging...and you see yourself in this post...consider this your get out of jail free card....complete amnesty just for letting us know how you are.

Easy enough, dontchathink???

    I am still fretting over our wonderful Contrary1. I really tried to contact her and never could. Worry, worry! I did email with Flash for awhile, but they were having so many medical problems, she just could'nt keep up with the blogs and coupon site. Miss her too. Yes, I will tell you if I am leaving and if not, feel free to hunt me down and harass me!

    Yeah, and what happened to kashi, lrjohnson, and lucky robin? I'm very glad that retire@50 came back...so there's hope!

    We could comment on their last post to see if we can wake them up a bit.

    I worry about Contrary1 too! She vanished for absolutely no reason ... I miss her!

    Lucky Robin I miss too, but I wasn't surprised or worried when she "disappeared" ... She had been blogging only sporadically at the end and mentioned she wasn't as in to "PF" as much.

    I can sometimes go quiet, but don't want to just fade away and have no one care!

    I miss these people too and on those I that I can locate their last posts I do try to rouse them, but alas, it doesn't always work!

    I, for one, being relatively new to the site, LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! I read it every chance I get. I am starting to become more familiar with the bloggers and look forward to learning as much as I can with and from each other.

    Totally understand. Even in the short time I have been here, I have lost a couple who have disappeared. I should be around for awhile though, I have plenty of finance goals to keep me busy. Big Grin

    Kashi commented on one of my blogs not very long ago (Pink Lentils?). She mentioned that she was reading, but just not blogging.

    If I ever get to a point where I can't keep up here, I will definitely let ya'll know. Smile

    Yep...I wonder what lrjohnson's life was like when she went back to living with a "Real" salary?

    Wonder if something happened to Contrary 1's Mom?

    Sunshine Suz...there is no such thing as "just a Lurker". You are a part of our group who hasnt made the leap to blogdome yet....we are happy to have lurkers...I will just keep encouraging you all to join us and let us get to know you too!
