And I take three steps back.
I knew we would have to pay since I had to use part of my moms IRA last year to help pay for funeral and other things. That plus I made so much more this year.
It could have been worse...we are paying about $1200. Which coincidentally is the exact amount I set aside for an elective surgery I really wanted to do...lol. I can easily give up something I want if it means paying this off without struggling all year.
So, now to reset and accomplish this years financial goals.
I have achieve my third no spend day in a row, thanks to the lunch challenge and preplanning!
Two steps forward and then we get our taxes done...

Good luck on cashing in on your loan. Will be interesting to see if she can keep up on her half of the bargain! You have a big heart and a lot of faith. (Tempered by a dose of realism!)
