It has been a while...again. My laptop died a painful death, and when I finally got a new one, it does not connect with the wifi as easily to my internet- long story, but the modem is in the big house- and I am still in the little house a few hundred feet away. For some reason, my old laptop worked just fine with the connectivity- but this one, not so much.

We are on our annual girls trip- so I am using the wifi in the hotel room- so nice to be able to finally use the laptop online!

We finally determined what work we wanted to do to the big house that fell within the budget- and we are almost ready to get started. Probably in the next 10 days. I am really excited to get it going now. We opted to not do the kitchen right now. It functions and we can make it work- but there were other things we decided were more important.

I have been out of my old position at work for 2.5 months. I still don't have a new boss or a job description. I am doing many of the things I used to do, but don't supervise- I pass that ball as soon as it appears. Ironically, one of my biggest people challenges turned in her resignation last week.

I am pretty excited to be here with my daughters on our annual trip, so this will be a short post. I hope all is good with everyone!!
