Better, but...

July 11th, 2006 at 10:27 pm

I love drugs. Wink

Well, not all drugs...but today I very much appreciate the vicodin and muscle relaxers that we have on hand. My Back, neck, arm and head are not quite so bad today. I took all the advice from the responses to my post- and tried a combination of them...and it is working. I think the biggest help was rolling on the floor and doing a natural-type chiro adjustment. Natural = my bones against hard floor with a little pressure. (pop, pop)...and, although it is not perfect...I am able to move without sharp pains everytime.

As far as spending, no spending since I am doing good just to move about the house. I did cook up chicken and pork for several days worth of meals.

Thanks again for all the advice...i am trying to use better posture, hot & cold packs, home-chiro- ing, and resting the muscles....and it seems to be helping!

Get your free sample of Thermacare heat wraps...

Seriously, I have a back thing. DH is sure that lying on a floor and twisting one knee over and around...AGH...hard floor work does help, though. Pain pills may sound bad, but they have a purpose...let your body heal! That's Dr. Flash's order!

Free advice...do not sit stoned in front of the computer buying stuff...everything seems better and so important when pain pills finally kick in. Lay down, keep pressure off. Know we are all worried about you, so take care of yourself!

This too will pass. Take extra good care of yourself and enjoy your perfect excuse to be lazy. I'm feeling for you!

Take care of yourself, but be careful. Early on, I mentioned to my chiro that I could click parts of my back. He wagged his finger a bit because it means that you are self-treating the loose, flexible parts of your back (making them looser) and not the stiff locked up ones.

If the self-treating is helping, though, it might be a sign that the chiro treatments can help you in general...or at least won't kill you. Smile
