Taking Advantage of Free Trial

I have been taking advantage of the one month free trial at B-buster. We are enjoying the 3 movies at a time, anytime + 1 free in-store per week. For a family who rarely rents...it has been an adjustment and a treat!

Last night, DD3(14) and I had a 'chick-flick' night- compliments of our freebies. We propped lots of pillows on the bed, had the room nice and cool and watched two movies together. Fried Green Tomatoes and Riding in Cars with Boys.

When DD3 was younger- I started calling her "Tawanda"- a pseudoname used in the movie Fried Green Tomatoes...and she loves to watch it and hear the name yelled out...(Funny, she has grown up deserving of just such a nickname Wink)

Tonight, we have a couple more movies to enjoy.

At the end of the month, I will call and cancel the membership. But I can honestly say, this is one trial we have really enjoyed!!! And I really love the F*R*E*E piece of it!

    We also have the blockbuster online for the 3 movies at a time anytime deal for $19.07 monthly. We also get two coupons each month (we print them off from the website) for either renting a free movie or game in store. This works out great for using the PS2. We use it for the games. The games themselves cost $7.99 each to rent. To me, that is cheap entertainment for our entire family of five. So it costs us $228.84 per year, with the savings bonus of $191.76 for the free game rental. Plus, they send the movies to you and, when your done, you send them back in their pre-paid, addressed envelope. It also keeps us home and out of the theatre, unless it is some great movie we just have to see before it is released on DVD, like "Pirates of the Carribean". Yeah.
