August Tracking

I started $$ tracking at the end of August. What I can see from the little I did, all my money goes to a teenager I loving refer to as DD3. and that pretty much sums it up...

LOL.

Ok, maybe not all of it...but all of my 'allowance' sure did.. I was so careful- not buying mochas or doo-dads or thingamagigs...saved it all, only to have DD3 'borrow' it.

sigh...I suffer from 'soft mom syndrome'...and am a sucker for a sweet smile, a please and a hug.

Well, at least now that I am tracking, I know. Then again, I think I knew before but just didnt admit it.

So there you have it...Im broke, but DD3 sure enjoyed her week.

    Ha Ha! Me Too, until she got married July 4th anyway... what am I talking about I still buy her scrapbooking stuff (none in August, but lots in July). We paid for her car to get the air conditioning fixed and we are shipping her car back to North Carolina in December.... then we are done with her, well except we are going to help with nursing school, after her financial aid....As far as coffee, DH trades with a local owner of a several drive-through coffee places and she gets those "gift certificates"....Oh well she is sick in bed with mono, so she won't be going to school this semester which means lots of $$$ saved with gas....and she will be leaving all too soon...

    You are right, Ray, it is easy to give in when they say please and thank you...

    I think they become bloodsucking parasites (albeit beautiful and charming ones!) from conception. And like Homebody shows, even after they move out and get married, you still carry them. Thank goodness for parents!
