An interesting sign of the times for sure...
I don't have an American Express account...it will be interesting to see how this plays out with other credit card companies.
Id leave for $300!!!
and try real hard not to let the door in me in the....
anyways.
I had class tonight. I have mentioned that I am about the oldest kid in class. I am on the oral debate team for the Death Penalty...and I am the only person on the team who opposes the Death Penalty (at least in most cases...) It was an intersting discussion as my team and I prepared to argue which ever side of this issue we are selected to argue. We wont know until the time of the debate, so we have to be prepared to argue both sides.
Not much else going on today.

I generally oppose it, unless it's politically driven and if it fits in the context of your country's laws. For me it's more what it symbolizes to the people, as in the old times; it's not just decapitating the king's head, but the head of the estate and ending a tyrannical rule. Sending that message is what's it's about.
end rant

I once had a debate class, and I was made to be pro-life of the debate even though I am technically pro-choice. Fortunately, I think I am pro-life more than anything, and the only reason why I am only pro-choice is because I believe women should have the right to choose whatever stance they want to take in the matter. So, I still did rather well in the debate.
