Is there a Reset button somewhere?

The US economy is in the tank..Japan is suffering horribly....animals are falling out of the sky or floating belly up....People are shooting each other, kidnapping kids...everyone seems to be either giving up or getting angry...

I wonder if when the world was created...there wasnt a reset button planted somewhere...

sigh.

I had a great dinner with girlfriends tonight. We used one of the pizza coupons that I bought at an auction...it was fabulous and the company was fun. We had some nice girl time for $9 each (wine and salads to go with the pizza)

Still no baby. Momma was here for a visit last night and I gave her some resources for family counciling and newborn care.

Stressful day. I guess I can reset my attitude-and look for the positive tomorrow. Where the heck is that reset button?

    Well ... there is one of sorts, depending on what you believe. I don't like to get into my religious beliefs on here too much ... But in a few words, I do believe that one day everything will be set right again.

    Until then, each individual can only do what they can do. And hopefully the more individuals that do what they can do together, will start to make a difference.

    ((hugs)) Know the feeling! Just yesterday in talking with my grandmother (whose 90), it was a "What is this world coming to?" Makes me grateful for what I have, and leaves me wondering what I can do to help make it a better place (the world, and how in my small way I can help improve it).

    My brother declared in early January that he was going back to bed for the rest of the year! We started the year losing a turtle unexpectedly. Then a friend's father died suddenly at 55. I couldn't even travel to the funeral because I was caring for a sick cat. Two months of syringe feeding her and countless tests later - she received her cancer diagnosis last Thursday. I lost turtle #2, my favorite, the same day. DH and I are at each others throats these days due to all the stress we've been under. It's hard to be thankful and be nice. The ONLY thing going right for us these days, it seems, are the finances. Everything else seems to be crashing down around us. That's just MY house - I barely have enough energy for anything else these days. SO SO sorry to hear what's going on in the rest of the world. Frown I'd like to hit the reset button myself. Trying SO HARD to make things better. It's an impossible task most days.
