Do I really just have FOUR kids here?
Every blanket and pillow in the house is on the living room floor. Of course, sleeping in forts is so much cooler than in a bed.
Chicken nuggets are gone. so is half the chocolate milk, about half of all the fruit, the snacks, one of the costco lasagna;s and about a gallon of water. whew. It was a very busy night. But thankfully they all fell asleep by 10 and didnt get back up until 6am.
While the kids were playing last night, I made a batch of banana chocolate chip muffins. They each had one this morning to tide them over until breakfast.
This morning, pancakes, bacon and more fruit are on the menu. but first, gramma must have COFFEE.
Grammas pooped.
Two of them will be picked up in about an hour...the other two (my sons kids) will stay here with me until we leave for the birthday part at noon.
Today should be a no spend day. - I gave my DIL the $40 for the jump house yesterday, there will be lunch at the party and dinner is planned here.
Tonight and tomorrow are rest and relax days for gramma.
But for now...hugs, tickles and attention to kiddos will be my focus. life is wonderful!
